About Me
Welcome to UnfilteredAndChaotic.com, where life’s messiness meets raw honesty. I’m the voice behind this blog—a 33-year-old working mom, nursing student, and self-proclaimed chaos coordinator.
My world is anything but ordinary. I’m a proud mom of four incredible kids—three of whom are navigating the stormy seas of their teen and preteen years (send coffee and patience!). My family also includes two lovable dogs, eight quirky guinea pigs, a curious hedgehog, and two spirited bearded dragons. Yes, my house is a zoo—literally.
Life hasn’t exactly handed me a smooth path. I’m juggling the demands of motherhood, the chaos of nursing school, and navigating the complexities of a long-term relationship with the father of my children. Add in years of personal growth through therapy and the never-ending hustle to make ends meet in middle-class America, and you’ve got a glimpse into the beautiful mess that is my life.
But here’s the thing—I’ve learned to embrace the chaos. This blog is my outlet to share my journey—the struggles, the triumphs, and the hilariously unfiltered moments in between. Whether I’m writing about the daily whirlwind of family life, the ups and downs of being a nursing student, or the hard-earned lessons from therapy and healing, my goal is to connect with others who know what it’s like to balance it all and still feel like it’s never enough.
I’m here to remind you (and myself) that it’s okay to be a work in progress. Life may not come with a manual, but it sure comes with plenty of stories worth sharing.
So, grab a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine), and let’s navigate the chaos together—unfiltered and unapologetically real.
